Nasrin Qader
Department of French and Italian
Nasrin Qader, (Ph.D. University of
Wisconsin, Madison), Assistant Professor of French and Comparative
Literature. She specializes in Francophone African literature, with
special emphasis on Arabic and French traditions in the Maghreb.
She is also interested in the intersections between philosophy and
literature in both the Islamic traditions and those of the West.
Qader is currently working on a book entitled Writing the Image/Imagining
Writing.
